Hi, I would love to learn Italian. I can't currently speak any other languages although did have a go at french and german years ago at school, just didn't keep this up so have forgotten. Is Italian easier/harder than learning french or german? Eg, does it have feminine and masculin words etc.? Also is it possible to learn Italian via an audio tape and can anyone recommend a good one please? Thank you.

Is it really hard to learn italian. I've always wanted to learn the language and I'm fluent in spanish, it seems really close to spanish but when I had someone explain some stuff to me it seemed kinda confusing. Is it really hard to learn?
